This collection - In ShadowLight - explores the quiet relationship between light and earth. Inspired by brown cotton as an extension of the soil, it observes how sunlight reveals texture and shadow reshapes the landscape. Contour lines translate these shifting patterns into abstract forms, capturing movement, depth and rhythm. In black and white, colour gives way to contrast. Black becomes shadow and white becomes light, revealing the subtle interplay of presence and absence. It is within this field that the collection locates its sanctuary: in the dot where life begins, in the gravel of the soil, in carefully sown seeds, in the quiet rhythm of cotton plants emerging from the land, and in the winding maze of babul trees that shape the rural landscape.  Each print is a study of landscape, material and the fleeting traces left by light, on the soil

Care: Kandu textile is pre-washed. Soak and hand-wash with mild detergent separately in cold water before using. Dry in shade. Expect a shrinkage of 3 to 4%. The play of molecules in naturally brown cotton fibre intensifies the colour through the first few washes. The colour comes into itself over time, just as the textile softens into your skin.
